Loconote, Austin is a production and mixing studio designed by Jay Kaufman of Kaufman & Associates for composer Will Loconto. In early 2016, builder Kevin Kociuba completed the studio, located in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin. The facility includes a 480 square-foot control room, a live room, and a machine room, as well as a photography studio and reception area.

Will's setup includes Pro Tools HDX with HD I/O, MADI I/O and an Antelope Orion32. He primarily composes in Logic Pro X and uses several Macs and PCs connected with Vienna Ensemble Pro. The studio features outboard gear from Neve, Millenia, Rupert Neve Designs, Empirical Labs, and Lexicon. Monitors are Genelec 1238A SAMs, Dynaudio BM15s, and Avantone Mixcubes. Hardware synths include an Oberheim Xpander, Linndrum, Modulus (Modal) 002, Waldorf Microwave XT and Micro Q, Access Virus B, Roland JP-8080, JV-1080, JV-880, TR-8. TB-3, System-1, System-1M, SIDStation, TherapSID, Teenage Engineering OP-1, as well as modular devices from Moog, Synthesizers.com, Mutable Instruments, Make Noise, Expert Sleepers, Doepfer, TipTop Audio, Pittsburgh Modular, Roland, and Analogue Solutions.
